School day was more eventful than usual today. First off, Ms Wong thought it was day 2 today and so turned up late for class. She left us to guess what she said when she found out it was day 7. Kevin set a good example by going to look for her when she was still absent after 10 minutes, and staff tried to call her phone which was on silent, so naturally that didn't work out.

During chem, Ms Yeo was writing on the board when this rather big green insect appeared in front of her and she jumped back in surprise. Gerrard said: punch it. Ms Yeo invited him forward to do so, which of course did not happen. Instead, the insect flew towards him. Gerrard retreated hastily from it by ducking. Everyone was in fits of laughter. The bug came round hovering over my side and San Zeng was prepared to hit it but I just acted like I wasn't afraid of it when I really was because I feared it might be a disease spreading mosquito. Ms Yeo then called for Samuel who was being punished outside the class, to use a file and wave it out of the window but not kill it. After a slight chase round half the lab, he managed to get the insect to a closed window. He pushed the window open with the file and within split seconds, it was gone.

Maths was stupid, I forgot to bring my notes. And there were some usual rebellious remarks. The current chapter of notes was prepared by Mr Wu, and he had always said that mistakes were present in other teacher's notes because they were not prepared by him, jokingly of course. Ironically, there were at least 5 errors in his notes, though they were really trivial. An example was the mispelling of Dhoby Ghaut. Another was a distance covered of 400m in 4 hours. Ridiculously slow, but he found an excuse for it, that it was perfectly logical, a snail could do that. So we changed it to km, then the speed became too great for normal cars on an expressway, at 200km/h. Either too fast or too slow, haha.
